great stellated triacontahedron | great icosidodecahedron
the great stellated triacontahedron or great rhombic triacontahedron (according to Wenninger, 1983: 54-56) is the dual of the great icosidodecahedron. in spite of the apparent simplicity of its 30 rhombic faces, for me, it was one of the hardest to model. It’s in the cover of one of my favourite books, Coxeter’s “Regular Polytopes”.
